About

We grew up during a subtle revolution– a revolution that encompassed a range of economic trends and a digital uprising. This revolution has altered the way society connects with the world forever.

Generation Y grew up watched our parents turn to the newspaper and TV for news. Now, we turn on the computer.

As Millennials entering the workforce during this revolution, it is clear that one communication resource outweighs the rest: blogging.

That’s why we are here. The transition from college into adult life can be difficult, especially in today’s pressing political and economic situation. And as seniors in college we felt that reality more than ever. We started Life Before Noon in February 2008 as an outlet to discuss our own transition and to help develop a conversation about Generation Y.

Life Before Noon is meant to be a voice for and by the Millennial Generation.

We write about the transition from college to professional life. We write about personal development, social media and career direction. We write about what is going on in our lives and in the world around us.

So come get to know us - Aida, Carla, Marilyn and Rachel, four recent college grads who are navigating through this time in our lives together. We aren’t an authority, but we hope to find our respective places in our careers, relationships and the digital world.

Join the conversation. Wake up to your Life Before Noon.
